Data Quality Strategy
This operating document describes the West Berkshire Council's strategy for improving and maintaining the quality of data created and held by the authority. The purpose of this strategy is "to outline the corporate approach to improving the quality of data across the Council to ensure that the authority provides consistent, high-quality, timely and comprehensive information to support good decision making and improved service outcomes." This Resource contains the user's view of seven critical success factors for data quality.

NSSRS Data Quality Training Initiative
The Nebraska Student and Staff Record System (NSSRS) became the official method for submitting student and staff data to the Nebraska Department of Education beginning in 2007-2008. This brief training overview sets the tone and expectation for this data quality initiative. From the Resource: "The Four Great Truths about Data Quality: Data Quality is highest when 1) The data providers know what's expected, 2) The data providers use the data themselves for their own work, 3) Everyone, everywhere checks the data, and 4) The data are available and used."

A comprehensive data quality strategy from this local government agency. From the Resource: "Objectives of the Data Quality Strategy: the service recognises the importance of data quality as we need reliable, accurate and timely performance information with which to manage services, inform users and account for our performance. We are committed to ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of data quality and as a result get our performance information 'right first time.' This will enable us to have the right information at the right time at the right cost."
